1990 Axle Ratio RPO
I am curiuos about the RPO code for my Vette. I have looked in the RPO section and couldn't find an answer. I have a 1990 Convertible with an Auto Trans. The RPO for my Axle is:
GU2 - 2.73 Ratio Axle
G92 - Performance Axle Ratio
My question is, is the 2.73 the normal ratio for the car or is it a special order. I notice that is a high geared rear end through my high gas mileage (34 MPG on cruise at 60 MPH) and the high shift points when driving. The bottom of the build sheet states that the car was "Built for a Particular Person or Purpose". Just Curious.

In verts, when you ordered the performance axle for the car, that meant you got the 2.73. Coupes wouldve gotten 3.07.
