Changed To 87 Fuel
I have a have a stock 84 and about two weeks ago I filled up with 87 fuel to see how she would run, I can barely beleive this but not only does she run and idle perfectly but I went from 14.7 MPG to 16.4 city & highway combined. This is great fuel milage. looks great is more than quick enough even with 205 HP. Just wanted to pass this on to other 84 owners, you know the year everyone wants to advoid.

I'd tune that puppy up if It was mine.
I average well over 18 mixed usage with my '85.

just had my '84 in last week for a full tune-up. after running some sea foam throught it and running on 87 i still only average about 16 or so.

Excellent! This needs to be said over and over. There's lots of early C4 owners that are pissing away their money on premium thinking it's better gas for them.
