Ignition Wire Question?
This is definately not the usual "which is better blah blah blah" wire question. My question is more along the lines of original design specifications. Many years ago, I replaced my stock AC Delco wires on my '86 iron head with aftermarket Accels. At that time, I threw out the old wires but I did keep the plastic heat shields.
I am now switching back to the stock AC Delco wires and I would like to install the original plastic heat shields as well. My problem is that I don't remember which wires had the shields on them and where they were placed on the wires.
Does anyone have any pictures of an original early '86 iron head engine bay that are clear enough to show which wires have the shields on them? If someone knows which wires but has no pictures, please feel free to reply as well. Thanks for any help
