I have a 92 LT1 and I've already replaced the alternator twice since i got the car and the power starts off at 14.7 and then ranges in between 13.8 and 14.1.Is this normal?

You have an LT1 ,check the wires that run down the intake ,you might have a short.
I had to replace my plug on mine when it started giving me problems.
I got a wake up call on that one $35.00 big ones for a stupid plug.
Lead acid batteries require less voltage to charge as the ambient temperature rises.
Charging voltages for lead-acid batteries are typically in the 2.30 to 2.35 volts per cell range at high ambient temps, and 2.40 to 2.45 volts per cell at low ambient temps.
Charging at 2.40 - 2.45 volts/cell at high ambient temps can result in a severe overcharge and damage to the battery.
For this reason, the voltage regulator (which lives within the alternator on your C4) is temperature-compensating. What you're seeing is normal, and by design.

Owned it since December? By now, you should know how to have fun.
But, seriously... Anything else you should know about what?
If you have not done this since you purchased the car, change all of the fluids: Oil, tranny & rear diff and use synthetics. ALSO be sure that you all the special GM additive into the rear diff for the posi clutches.
Read the tech tips at the very top of the tech/Perf section. You'll learn a lot form that.
I have nothing but fun every time I drive the car however things are starting to go wrong, such as the ride control, But as far as fun theres nothing like taking the roof off and cruising, and winning shows
