Trained a future Corvette driver today

I promised him and his 11 y/o twin sisters that I would go to their house and give them a ride with the top down today.
Kameron has inherited the "car nut" gene that my paternal grandfather and my Dad and myself and Kameron's Dad (my son) so strongly share.
He LOVES anything with wheels and likes to help his Dad fix the truck and the Ducati.
It was sprinkling off and on when I got to their house so I took the twins first and had to keep the top up. Finally the rain pretty much stopped and I put the top down for Kameron. His Dad took some pics of each kid in the car with Gramps before we took off. I explained to Kam how to operate the selective ride switch in the center console and told him to move it from Touring to Performance at my command. Hee Hee! What fun!
Everytime I would come to a sharp turn I would tell him to turn the switch and then go around it like an autocrosser. Then he would switch it back to Touring after we exited. After a few turns he was doing it by himself after asking if it was time to turn the switch. We had an absolute ball! This is one of those days I will remember when I'm laying on my death bed. God has certianly blessed me with this kid as he seems to be a natural.
