CA Emissions - Advice
Just purchased an '84 from Indiana. The car has 52K and has been a summer car only and garaged in the winter. Any advice on the types of things I should check before taking it to get smog'd?

I'd take it straight to a smog station and get a pretest. It may pass just fine with those low miles. Get the motor(and Cat) good an warm befroe you go in. Drive for at least 20 minutes then stop in.....maybe leave the car idling while you talk to the guy

what is the maintenance history?
check the plugs, make sure the gas is fresh. I agree with the seafoam idea. Drive it and make sure it's all warm before taking it in.
