I know I'm going to catch HELL from many owner's
,but I decided to have my 84 painted a "Sea Mist Green" at the local bodyshop. It's not a Corvette factory color,but I wanted something a little different,but not too extreme,
so this color was picked by a committee of 4 car people who's opinion I value. I will get it back Friday,and I will try to post some pic's. I hope I don't get kicked off this site for going against Main Street Marcher's!

There will always be plenty of Corvettes that wear original Corvette colors. I think it's great to see somebody step outside of this box and make a Vette unique, especially if it's done tastefully.
It's your car, make it what you want it to be. If anyone else doesn't approve, let it be they who lose sleep over it. Please yourself. And be sure to post pix when it's done so that we can all see the new look!

don't forget its your car... sometime you have to do what you think will look good to you. thats the most important thing. we all know the corvette community can be brutal, but also we give thumbs up if things are done tastefully.. its nice to share pics. it is a neat color, like on street rods etc so maybe awesome on a vette. sounds like some chrome wheels to highlight it. ,
