Hi everyone,Ive been reading the forum and you'al are very helpful with other peoples problems.I have a 92 and for the last 2 winters(2004-2005) my car was stored in my garage (no time to drive it because of a new baby)Spring of 2006 I put on new rotors and new pads all the way around, after takeing it for a cruise my ASR light would come on and this would activate my ABS, this happens when I slow down and I'm almost at a complete stop.Another bit of info I just had flow master exhaust put on (and it sounds great) but without pushing the button to shut off my ASR, when you are in park and you reeve up the engine this also makes my Asr light come on (which is activateing it ) but the car is in park. Need help from all of you to figure this one out. In case it's important my garage is very damp when it rains, wondering if this means anything because it sat for so long?

The revving it up at rest and getting an ASR/ABS code is one of the symtoms I had when the TPS had a bad connection, causing a low voltage condition at times. It also caused the AT to shift inconsistently at times and some other weird stuff. The TPS is tied into the ASR/ABS, the CCM, etc. Your year does not have an electronic trans. (if it's an AT) so hopefully it'll be simpler to run down. Trouble shooting procedures per the manual is the only way you'll find out for sure what's causing your problems. It's not as hard as it seems once you get started, but it can take some time.
i appreciate your helping me with this but i'm not sure what a TPS is? I don't want to sound dumb but i only have access to a shop manual if i go to the library.Sorry it took me so long to write back but i was away on vacation, now i'm back and it's time to fix my baby!
