It's a fact;my 84 was original,and it cracked,but it never distorted. Had it replaced in Tucson,for $255,
with American glass,which comes from either LOF,or PPG. Still the two best.
Windshield replacement is BIG bussiness,especially in the south,and here in AZ,where we get a lot of stone chips;and I hear Texas is pretty bad for them also
