Im lookin at getting a wheelskin cover, and they made a rather large point of factory installed leather wrapped wheels throwing off the sizing. I have a 95 vette.. were they made with 'leather wrapped' wheels?

 

Your 95 should have a leather wrapped wheel. My 96 did.

My wife just installed a wheelskin on my C5 this past weekend. I am very happy with it. You can buy them from mid america for $39.99. They have the right sizes for Corvettes.

I tried to put one on my 96 and it just didn't fit right. I think the width of two spokes is problematic and it doesn't wrap as nicely as the C5. It still looked horrible after two hours trying to make it look right -- I ended up returning it.

Were your wheels "leather wrapped"?

Maybe one was, one wasnt?

 

According to the Ecklers site, there are 4 different wheelskins for the C4 depending upon the year of the car. Make sure you get the right one. Go to www.ecklers.com and do a search for wheelskin.

I did look at ecklers, but the problem with their site is they only do a few color combos. I want Blue/Black, but they dont have it!

Yeah Ecklers doesnt have blue/black. I was dissapointed.
