drivetrain vibration
After doing heads, cam, a built trans and a new D44, I'm still working out some kinks. One of the last is a rumble from that I can feel clearly through the console at 40MPH with no throttle. When I give it some gas, it disappears. Does this sound like it could be the diveshaft is 180 degrees out? My D44 came to me after being sandblasted, and the balance mark was gone, so I had to guess on orientation. I was going to pull the exhaust again and try rotating 180 degrees, but I'd expect an out of balance drive shaft to behave proportional to speed. Any other ideas?
