I R&R'd my radiator today and cleaned the debris out of the a/c condenser. It wasn't too bad a job. I'm wondering the comparitive degree of difficulty to do the rear bearings
Thanks, and thanks to Craig March for mailing the spring for my console lid :blueangel: I'm back in business.
I wouldn't be too worried, being as how they are a single enclosed unit. Can't be that tough. I'll read through my Helms when I have a chance today, but hopefully someone will check in before then.... go for it!
One thing ... The hub is bolted to the spindle with three torx bolts.
Get a TOP quality torx tool or you will damage the bolts. When I first tried to remove the bolts I broke an extension and twisted the torx bit. Once I got tools that was made from the right stuff it was easy to do.
So who makes a good T-55 torx bit? All I could find at Sears was one from some funny manufacturer...it was labeled a brake caliper bit or something. I guess Craftsman doesn't make one?
