It would seem that there are no long tubes that are legal in CA. But there are long tubes made that are acceptable most other places. Stainless Works, TPIS, Melrose (I believe), Exotic Muscle, Hooker and Hedman (not recommended by me, personally) all make LTs for the L98 cars.

Thanks for the info. I would assume that I could make any of the headers semi CA legal, by adding an O2 sensor whole.

Thanks

no such luck, bro... that's that bug with CARB.

You cannot just put something on there an expect the smog tester to pass you cause it has an O2 in the right place. You need the air injection crap, too, and you have to prove they don't effect emissions.

This is what I would do - install the exhaust of your dreams - Long tubes, bullet cats, xpipe, appropriate O2 and pipes out back... just be ready to swap it for factory stock every 2 years.

Thanks
All of the companies I mentioned make headers w/ the A.I.R. hook-ups, etc.

I live in California and have TPIS lontubes on my car. My vehicle is registered in WA state however, so I get away for now.
