Well after some hard work , new restoration parts and many many coats of Wax...I finally won my first Show Trophy. Thanks to really nice people at Movin on Cruisers at Middletown , NJ....a great evening and a pretty good location for a show.....I found myself surprised to win Best Non Historic. It is an extra special win to me..... Looking foward to hopefully winning a few more in the future. Heres a couple of Pics of my 87, 1 from the Middletown show and another from Colts Neck NJ
congratulations!!! How many miles you have on that car?
I have a 86 and I want to chrome my wheels like yours?
How much did it cost you and do you have any tips on choosing someone to do them?

I have 71k on Her. I had Corvette Central do the chroming...they subcontract the wheels out to BJ's Chroming in Encino California. They did a great Job. I chose the Core Exchange......cost about $700 + about $85 to ship the Core wheels back. Can buy em out right for about $1300.
I recommend Corvette Central.....After I paid them...I delt directly with BJ's ..they actually called me on the phone one Night to tell me that the wheels were done...and that they were being shipped out...just to let me know to look out for them. I couldn't be happier

thanks for the info... I'll probably have them done this fall. They look great on your car.
Is it just me, or are the wheels on backwards? No matter, no car, nice job!
No, The turbine fans should curve over toward the right...or in the direction of the wheel spinning. I did have one wheel on incorrectly in earlier photos...but that was the previous owners doing. If you look at all Early C4 Turbine wheels..they are on correctly. I think its just the Chrome throwing you off.
If you look at the wheels on your 95...they are reversed as compared to mine...but a different wheel design altogether...but correct for a 95.

You are right (of course). I assumed the 'spokes' would slant same way as the later models. Found this on ebuy---
When you can make your black car the cleanest, sharpest car in the show...that says something. I never realized how difficult it was to achieve that level of perfection till I owned a black car. Congrats, bro!
