25 years between Corvettes

I recently acquired this 92 six-speed convertible.
The seller was a long-time owner who was meticulous in maintaining the car; a real gear-head who impressed me with his knowledge and thoroughness. The car has the major options offered in 1992 like FX3 suspension and dual-leather power seats. Also has recent Bridgestones all around.
It probably was not a steal at $14,950, but considering that it is an exceptionally clean car at 43K miles, I thought the price was fair.
The car is completely stock except for a B&M shifter by the prior owner and an SLP cold-air induction that I just added. I plan to keep it like this, cruise it and hang on to it.
I’ve had Corvettes before, including a 1957, a 1968 roadster and a 1976 L82. The 57 was my first and last Corvette, which I sold in a moment of slipped (stupid) judgment at Bloomington in 1981.
One of the Corvettes that my buddy from the early days has is a 93 six-speed convertible. It really caught my interest. The C4 generation may not have the collector value of the early cars, but it is far superior in drivability and practicality.
And I'm sorry about that '57, not too many of them around, only a few thousand made.

Welcome back! Enjoy the ride.
Welcome back to the 'hood. The C4 gang is a good bunch.
Be well,
