I test drove two other Corvette a 85 and a 92, the seat in the 85 seem to sit lower, while the one in the 92 seem to sit higher. I adjusted the driver's seat in both car, even with the tilt steering wheel adjust I still find it still seem like I was sitting higher n the 92, plus there is not much leg room in either one for someone that is just at 6'2.

I just replaced my seats with new leather and foam. I sit about 2 inches higher now. At 1st I thought there was something wrong with the seat adjustment. The 85 probably has original foam on the seats that is compressed.

The question is why does the seat in the 92 seem to sit higher then the one in the 85 and yes I did adjust the height setting in both seats, in fact the one in the 85 I have to raise it just a little.
