Default 1984 Corvette value

I just purchased a 2000 C5 black 6 speed. Because I only have a two car garage I need to sell my 1984 C4. I decided I would keep the 1977 C3. I know the 84's aren't worth a lot of money. I'm going to list everything about the car just to get some feed back from you guys on what it may be worth.

Vette was originally Gold with a bronze interior. Vette is now Firemist black with a black and red interior.

Digital dash has been rebuilt
Newer Paint Kerbeck (about 2 years) no scratches always garaged
New weather stripping (whole car)
New 17 inch ZR1 style, polished aluminum rims, 40's front 35's rear
New shocks all around
New radiator
1991 black leather seats (drivers side power)
New fuel pump
New battery
K&N air filter
New trans with shift kit and SLP converter (not sure what stall) Vette does pull out nice.
Car fax shows the car as being accident free.

If I have to sell the car really cheap I don't want to sell it to a young kid that would just destroy it. I hope to see it go back into a garage and be used as a weekend toy. I do have plenty of recent pics. Tell me what you guys think this car may be worth. After I come up with a price I will list it in the for sale section. Thanking you in advance, Bill

You may be disappointed. My brother just bought a 1984 in great running/driving condition for $1000. It has ok paint, ZR1 wheels, 130,000 miles. Several minor things don't work or need attention, but overall its a really good car. It's nowhere near as nice as yours and he did get a once in a lifetime deal. But C4s and especially 84s aren't worth much anymore. .....By the way, I'll give you 1000 bucks cash. jk Good luck with the sale.

I know you said you didn't want to just sell it to anyone, but if all you are interested in is how much money you get, ebay vettes always seem to sell for more than local sales or corvette forum sales. FWI.

they have to be hosted by a website i just learned recently. use your sig or your little personal page to show us a picture if you have some. without a picture no one will know truely what kinda money the car could bring you. i wont personally even if you post a pic but those who would need a picture.

yah when i tried [img] i got the little x to lol. your sig and personal page provides you with at least 2 picture slots. use your sig and personal for a side shot with door open and the remaining slot for a engine pic would b best im guessing.

Nice cars, whats the 84 worth? It depends on where you live.
How nice the car is and what the local market is.

I'd say anywhere from a low of $5000 to a high of $6500.

How do you figure? Where are these cheap vettes, the cheapest I have seen are on ebay, locally they go for 3 times the ebay price.

Well here we have a highly modified non orignal 1984 corvette. non orignal trans, paint, seats, wheels and mileage that may not be correct.Intresting you say you don't want to sell it to someone young, "who will destroy it."it is not like it's in showroom condition. or highly collectable
