E5Z and E9Z have been on nearly every '89 I've coded over the last 2-1/2 years, over 200 cars. I suspect it has something to do with the exact parts used depending on the rear axle ratio and maybe also weather it's an auto or stick axle. Any of you stick-ologists out there have these codes?.
