Well I got my second warning in the last month for no front license plate. (It's a law in Texas) So it seems I am going to have to break down and put the plate on, much to my disgust. How do I get the front license plate cover off of my car. I glanced at it this morning but wasn't sure. Will it just pop out or are there screws? Thanks for the help.

Look along the bottom edge of plate - there is a small gap there.
i want to put the front cover on my car too but its illegal down here(vancouver canada) as well, so im just gonna put the clear cover that corvette central sells over my plate instead, it still follows the pattern of the front bumper and looks better than nothing
Well, I just took off the cover and put the plate on. It makes me sad, but at least I won't get hassled over it anymore. The good news is the cover does look kind of cool hanging on the wall in my house now. Oh well.

I found this to be the best compromise between no front tag (required in Maryland) and the bare tag, which ruins the contours of the front end. The clear cover really does make a big difference. I can live with it.
It's the law where I live in Canada to. I think it looks really ugly, but what are you to do?
Move to North Carolina...besides 80% of the time it's Corvette driving weather. Just picking on you Maple leafers! Actually, the wife and I just got back from visiting the Canadian Rockies. It's really nice up there around Banff and Canmore. Some of the nicest mtns if have ever laid eyes on.
Texas not only requires front tags but it also will not allow any covers over the tags, front or rear. They also don't allow tag frames. This cover and frame thing kicked in a couple of years ago. I had a clear cover over my rear plate and no tag on front. Got pulled over and reprimanded. My compromise was to pull the rear cover off but I never have put the front tag on, yet.
