My goal is to complete the interior restoration on my 92 convertible by next spring but I’m having problems locating a few parts. I was wondering if anyone has already gone through this process and could provide a few tips.
Here are the parts that I’m looking:
The front speaker cloth – It doesn’t come with the carpet sets that I’ve looked at and I haven’t been able find a vendor that sells it separately. I also tried a few fabric stores but couldn’t find a match.
Drivers side floor trim panel near gas pedal.
I’m also looking for a good set of replacement leather sport seat covers. So far, Last Detail is the cheapest but I’m wondering if anyone else had bought from them or any ther vendor?
Good luck with the seat covers I'm doing a interior on an 88 coupe and I’ve been waiting for the seat covers to come in for almost three months. This is my first vette and it just really surprised how many little things that you can’t seem to find. I went through VIP Corvette for my interior so far I’m ok with it reasonable prices pretty good service the seat covers aren’t their fault (supplier holdup). By the way what’s with the addirondack name I grew up not far from Lake George.
You cannot get the front speaker cloth any more. I used headliner material that almost matched the original and sounded a lot better. try all the fabric stores in you're area. I've been working on my 92's interior for about a year now and it takes some searching for the little stuff.
