Has anybody had a problem with their windshield fogging up oin their C4 on a hot/warm evening. It's not a heater core problem, and I realize that if the blend door is hanging up a bit it could cause this... Was just wondering if anybody else had had this specific problem on their ride...
My '95 does this occasionally. It did it many times before my grandson happened to be with me and noted that the fog was on the outside. Running the wipers proved his eyesight. Try it.
Hope that's it.
Happens to me also.I notice it more after I have had the ac on park the car awhile and then drive it right after that again with the windows down and the ac off.
I've noticed when I fire up the car with the AC going that for the first few minutes it blow cold air out the defrost vents. After a few minutes it slowly switches to the dash vents. If conditions are just right it will fog up the lower center of the windshield.

If it is fogging on the inside and you are sure the heater core is okay, check the recirc door. It should be in the outside air position to clear the windshield, if it is recirculating (inside air) you will not defog. The blend door controls heat but should not cause your problem.
Protectents used on the dash or seats or anywhere else may be causing the symtom. I don't use this stuff much but I had a first aid kit in one of my cubbys for the longest time. Seems that one of the contents leaked out so I tossed the whole first aid kit away. My frequent windshield fogging cleared up.
Think..rackish angle of the windshield glass provides alot of area. Cold inside, hot outside....vice versa will give you condensation on the inside or outside. The deciding factor on location of condensation is which side has the warm air!

My 96 does the same, until a/c comes thru the vents...
