The Wave
This topic may have been discussed be4 but here I go. How many of U have run into a situation where U where 2 tired 2 drive U’r Vette and had the passenger take over the wheel? Then upon driving passed a couple of Vette's, U come 2 U’r senesces and say. When U see a Vette coming in U’r direction or pull up beside U, remember 2 wave. I was so tired on the way home the other day that I let a fried of mine drive the rest of the way, and she said why are those people waving @ us. @ which point I said: U’r in a Vette Luv welcome 2 the club. :cheers:

On a long drive to and from Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Huntsville, Alabama and back (Hwy 40 and Hwy 72, 930 miles) I saw and passed a number of C4's and C5's, most had tinted windows. I waved to them all. I couldn't tell you if they waved or not. I passed two with out tint and neither would look or wave. So the stats on this trip were 1 confirmed wave, 10 "who knows" and 2 confirmed "no waves, not even a look, C5ers". I have very hurt feelings. I love my car as I do any other Vetts I see, I wave to all I see, and I even wave to some of those Firebirds and Commaro's that at a quick first glance look like a C5. I said a quick first glance, don't anyone go hot on me now.
