Default Where is the skip shift plug located?

I just bought a skip shift (1st to 4th) eliminater plug and before going and looking all under the Vette I figured I'd ask and maybe save myself a little time. I guess I just unplug it and plug the two new aftermarket plug caps into the seperated ends then wire tire all back together?

It's under the transmission housing. Can't remember which side, I think drivers side. Yes just plug the protectors in. I don't know if that plug gives a loopback to the ECM or not, but I didn't get any codes.

Driver side (oops), just disconnect, no codes, no agravation. You can buy the plug, but all it does is keep your electrons from falling out (that's a joke)

Depends on the year. Later C4's will throw a code without the caps that have the resistor.

I already bought the CAGS bypass harness from Mid AMerica Corvette, I have it right here in front of me, I looked it over and see in the instructions where it is located I also looked at the two pieces they sent me for $20 or whatever it cost and there does'nt seem to be any resistor(s) in either piece? Is this proceedure something that I should really not do? I mean it really does not bother me, I always shift past the window that they set by GM to activate the 1-4 shift. But I'm guessing like everyone who has a 6 speed with the CAGS they have occassionally went to shift in that window by accident and said oops. I do not want any codes to come up if there is a possiblity, the car runs great, there are no codes, and hasn't been any since I got it, I'd like to keep it that way

The previous owner installed a bypass on my LT4. I'm not sure which brand though. Every once in a while the upshift light will flash for the briefest of moments. No codes are are being thrown.
