Carfax
Does anyone have an account for cardfax, or something like it. I found a 1984 Corvette and I was trying to find the history on the car in I have the vin# for it. The car was clean, but I had trouble with the driverside door the key wouldn't work in it.

Yes I did and it work in the passenger door, same key .

WADR, if YOU had a carfax account, had paid your money, and tried to "do a favor for a fellow CFer", what might be YOUR response?
Let me tell you what I've read here on CF: "dammit, I just ran a vin for so and so, and carfax cancelled my subscription. I still have X days left on it, but now I have to sign up again." Or words to that effect.
So, how would you feel if it was your account? A case of innnnnnnnnnn-di-gggggggggessssssssstionnnnnnnnnnnn?????/
It is to protect the innocent (or those who just don't know), on both sides of "the deal". Anything wrong with that?
