Offsets
Hi All I have a 94 Vette!
I ran across a great price on ZR1 wheels last weekend.
They were adv. in the local paper, the guy said 17x9.5 offset 56mm.
When I went to look them over the wheels were actually 50mm.
My tires are 255 45 17 front 56mm, 8.5 wheels and 285 40 17 rear, 9.5 wheels on the rear.
The guy tries to convince me that they would fit just fine but I decided not to buy. I was thinking that the tires would look funny. I like the staggered look.
What are your opinions? Would the different offset had made a difference?
