OK, I have picked out the new Kumho tires, now is the rim question. I the rims I have are pretty well shot, they came on the car when I bought it 2 months ago. SO, I have a choice to make. Should I stick with some C4 replicas OR get some other non-vette rims that might be less pricey and more available? Advice please?

don't go cheap on rims. they might fail and that would suck.
have you bought the tires?
What I would suggest for a nice option are the C5 Wagon Wheels. Hell, just about any take off C5 rim is going cheap, and they are rather nice, really.

Got mine off ebay...
Love them, and I think there distinctive. Some people dont, but Its my car, my taste. I made an effort to stay away from the stock look.
Shop around, and decide if ya want to stay stock, go to "the darkside" or something in between.
Either way ya go, stay with some kind of brand name if you can afford it. (Mine are made by Weld Racing)
BTW: Ron, I do like the 06 z06 rims too.. sweet lookin' ride

Very Cool! I am new to this whole thing and I guess I was looking to see if I needed to stay with C4 replicas or could use other types of Corvette rims. I see that it's not really critical I stick with the c4's.
