1987 Power Door Lock Switch Replacement?
Thought this would be simple but I'm stuck. How do you get to the Power Door Lock Switch for a '87? Does that black panel surrounding the handle/lock area seperate from the door panel or does the door panel have to come off? Please see previous post for progress so far:

You will need to pop out the arm rest which is very easy. Just push that back towards the door and pull up at the same time. The map light plate should pop out once you get the door lock ****/switch whatever it is called out of the way. When you do that then you will see a metal hook rod. Then you just try and gentlly pull the plastic cover while you pull the door handle out to help wiggle it out.
