Displacemnt wise. But a viper at idle sounds less like a muscle car than a vette, its got 2 extra cylinders! hahahaha. Plus the higher price tag. But Ive been in a few, amazing brute force. Its like being hit by a big blunt club rather than stabbing you get in a vette hahaha.

Agree with that. My corvette has a nice lumpy muscle car sounding idle but it's because I can't get it runnng right..

I'd trade my corvette and a chunk of cash to go with it a viper, specially an early one..

I like the older vipers. The new ones are just plain ugly...lots of power to make up for it, but no more than a ZO-6. I'm starting to see more of the older vipers around town now. I guess they are starting to fall in the hands of people who actually drive their cars...

Agreed that the V10 just doesn't sound right, I always describe it as a vacuum cleaner on steroids. The coupe isn't too bad but driving a roadster with side pipes any distance gets very annoying.

Vipers look kind of nice on pictures but look great standing next to them.
And looking at them at the track really inspires some respect.

Once had a Viper take insult to my C4 coming up behind him on a summer night. He took it as an insult and disappeared in front of my eyes on a straightaway. Must have hit 140 MPH. No challenge from me either. I knew his Viper was faster and I never participate in illegal street racing. My main concern was this moron could have killed someone innocent. Left a very bad taste from this assinine Viper owner.

Where I live many Viper owners act childish and immature. They seek attention and a Viper definately provides it. Apples and Oranges comparison with the Viper and C4. I'll take my C4 and keep the extra $50K. But they are fine, not just for my taste though. It's like wearing a black leather jacket (C4) instaed of a red one (Viper).

C4s are fun on the cheap, but I bet most here if they could afford it would step up to a Viper, or Z06...Sometimes people bash cars they cant afford. Viper isnt for me, Im pretty low key and dont need to draw attention to myself. They are big an fast, cant take that away for sure.

I'm 6'4" with a size 13 shoe.

I always loved the thought of a viper until I tried to get into one.

I will never own a viper because they did not build them for people over average size.

Even if I could get used to looking over the windshield my feet are to big for the vipers pedals.

Even in the corvette I wear shoes that fit close to my feet with nothing extra hanging off of them.

I don't feel out classed in my vette when I see a viper.

I just think........I wonder if he needs a stool to get to the items on the top shelf in his kitchen?

Yea I like the viper too but if they could just figure how to divorce the product from any association with "Chrysler/Dodge" Id like it more.

Chrysler/Dodge ='s
