Mechanic in Shreveport
I just moved to Shreveport, Louisiana from Lafayette, Louisiana and I'm looking for a mechanic for my 1886 Corvette. I had taken the vehicle to Red River Chevrolet and they wanted a thousand dollar deposit before they'd look at it. They also wanted to charge $400 to replace the air temperature sensor.
The car keeps blowing the 7.5 amp fuel injector fuse. Practacally everything has been replaced on the car. The only thing left from 1986 is the paint job.

Good luck to you on this one. I lived in LA for about 2 1/2 years and was NEVER able to find anyone who was qualified or even willing to work on my 90 in the entire state. Wish I had more for ya' but your best bet is to either do the work yourself or bite the bullet and take your chances at the dealer. I do however know of 2 really great shops that are more than willing to do horrible work for thousands of dollars...
