I heard from some of my yankee cousins that in "New York City" if you wave to a Corvette driver and they don't wave back that it's legal to "Pop-a-cap" in their ****!
I'm from Long Island NY. Everytime I go up there no one waves back. Even the C4 guys. And I thought the C5 guys around here were bad. I emailed the corvette club out there just to bust their chops. The president said "Yeah they are really bad when It comes to waving".
As an old fart, I am a "waver" from way back. Still am, but don't get many waves back. You gotta remember that when the wave started, the natural place for your left arm was out the window, as the window sills were much lower. Also, with no a/c, you had the window down almost all the time. Waves today tend to be more of lifting a few fingers from the wheel and don't get noticed. :seeya
In these little towns in the sticks, like Joplin, we usually wave, but a lot of time the C5ers don't waste any energy, the other day I got a "nod" instead!
