does anybody know what shipping company ecklers uses?
do they pack bumpers well?
i would rather not have my bumper crushed and deformed when i get it or deal with sending it back
The last 2 large items I had shipped UPS were either damaged or mishandled badly by thier loaders and delivery driver. Had the last one not been packaged like explosives, it too would have gone back
The knuckle dragging, low IQ, unibrow that delivered the first one cam as close to a 'stompin' and I've ever wanted to give anyone in years na years. His attitude was "so what! They'll send you another piece" and an it's not my problem (actual quote) attitude!
Keep them, I'll stick with FedEx!
The lack of damage will be exclusively the result of any prepackaging Ecklers does. Don't count on UPS (aka: Useless Piece of S***) to take care of it...
Second, as Gordon stated, some drivers don't care, but 99.9% of damages occur during transit or in the loading process, not the delivery process.
If they are packed well enough, there shouldn't be a problem, however if you do have a problem, good luck getting it resolved, Ecklers customer service sucks the big one and they are very uncooperative.
Franks got a point and I didn't mean to blanket all the drivers with that statement (although I guess I did).
This particular driver though literally dropped the box (I heard it) at my front door, then knocked and haulled azz! The box had plainly and largely marked in four (4) places "THIS END UP"
"That" end was on the f**kin' ground!
The box was all chewed up , dented and torn. I know he didn't do all that, but I'm assuming he can at least read?
