Apperantly not. You could buy another Vette for that, or had a badass 383 stroker.

1. I am praying you paid by credit card. You have 60 days from payment to dispute the charges. Call the credit card co immediately and tell them you want to dispute the charges. If you did not pay by cc or you are over the 60 days, it will be a lot tougher to get any money back.
2. Contact better business bureau and file a complaint.
The main goal of the 1 and 2 above is to get the shop to at least recognize there is a problem and hopefully refund some of your money. I would also follow the next steps.
3. ask for a break down of the hours and cost of parts from the shop. It is usually a common set amount of hours for each task. Mechanics go by this when they give estimates. Example would be 2.8 hours to replace an EGR valve. Then $70 for the valve itself.
4. Take the break down to another shop/mechanic that you know (library may even have a book with this info) and find out if they inflated the number of hours. Also, find out about parts cost. Are they reasonably priced.
5. If everything appears to be in order. Not much you can do. If things are way off, I would call around several shops and get estimates for the same work (I wouldn't tell them that it was done already or ehat is going on) then possible take the co to small claims court with all these estimates for the difference. Having a mechanic friend with you to verify would probably help as well. Depending on what the contract says and the state you live in (are they heavy "protect the customer,") you may get part of your money back. There may even be a chance the company will settle so they dont have to go to court OR not show at all.

Good luck

The song Prison Love by Robert Schimmel comes to mind. Ouch, well at least you should not have a problem with constipation anymore.

that's some salty work you had done there! Hopefully you have some legal recourse to try and get some of it back!
Hey- anybody out there have any of the work that was done on this vette seperately? If you would be willing to share your cost may help piece this thing together!?

My chip was $219 and I did the install myself.
