Custom plates
Hey i wanna get custom license plates for my car im very ignorant about it where do i go about doing this (i live in NJ) is this something i can do online or do i have to go to the DMV, how much does it cost? thanks

Pretty sure you'd have to go through your states DMV. A personalized plate is still registered with the state in which it was issued.
That being said, at least some states allow you to go online and view what might be available. As with regular plates, there can't be two identical issued in the same state.

thanks for the info if i understand the site corretly i have to have at least 3 letters which kinda sucks i wanted to just have "ME" but snice i need 3 letters id have to do MEE or something like that. If uve seen Taledaga nights ull get it, im also thinking about maybe putting GOFAST although that might be asking for cops to pull me over a bit much any ideas?

I dont know about your area, down here in Texas we have to fill out a form from DPS office and you get I believe about 6 choices .putting your first choice first.If that makes any sense.I dont know about the letter limit.Id call your local and find out more info..
