I haven't seen this particular problem in past threads so I'm hoping
someone may be able to give me some direction. I have an 85' and
last week i had it out for a drive, it worked well. I parked it in the
yard and the next day went out to start it. It started up but both
turn signal indicator lights and the high beam light were on. None of the lights on the outside the car were on. I then turned the turn signal on and then everything went back to normal, working good. Could it be in the turn signal lever? The car sits in the garage and doesn't get started real often. Thanks for any help. D.
Might be a ground issue. I had the same problem on my 88, performed task of fixing cold soldering joints on the following web page (http://www.batee.com/corvette/)and it worked. It was an intermitent issue. Unfortunately my cluster had some broken displays and had to send in to have them fixed.

This is exactly what happens when the cluster loses its ground. In my case the ground strap came loose at the 10 oclock bellhousing bolt. It could also be the connector to the cluster, or internally.
