Default Wheel Polishing

Well today I got a quote for getting my ZR1 wheels polished. The price was too high for me. Now Im taking on polishing them myself and im wondering whats the best way to get a proffesional finish im well aware that there is lots of work to be done im just not sure how to achieve the finish. If anyone could give a list of materials i need to purchase and what to do with it all that would be great.

Dang, I guess when threads get archived they get locked?

Heres a before pic, this is an old thread and Ive deleted a bunch of pics so they are missing on the thread.

One after pic, my favorite....

One after with a similar view...

After I let them go a bit...Takes nothing to brighten them back up though. Never did clear them, didnt need it. Last time I saw the car.

I've read of a few folks doing it with good results. Just takes lots and lots and lots and lots and lots, did I say lots of work?
