I am very happy because there is a guy I know that owns a mint 96 Z28camaro automatic with a shift kit, some type of computer upgrade, cold air intake, cat back system and 68,000 miles on the engine that was itching to run my vette for the last month or so because he knew that my corvette is a 92 with 192,000 miles, stock motor other than open lid, delteq ignition and no cats, so we got a chance to run them together and I'm pleased to share with you guys that what he thought was a washed out vette instead beat his precious camaro not once but twice. why is it idiotic kwik??? he thought because his camaro is newer with less miles than my vette he figured that a stock vs stock race he was going to win but he found out different. now what is so odd about that??? Im not saying that my car is a rocket all im saying is that I won this particular race.

I have to agree that street racing is very irresponsible and there is no defense to that, and I won't judge anyone's drag racing spirit in here but ????????... so from now on I will tell no more racing kill stories if it was not at the track. I will not lie Im glad I showed the guy my rear end twice

Saoco, I'm not sure anyone's necessarily "offended" by the post. We are all (most anyway) adults here.
Some my take exception for various reasons like the gentleman who lost a friend or some of the cops onthe board or who knows?
Bottom line bro, is the administrators and owners of this board, have deemed streetracing or "kill" stories to be unacceptable content for this forum .
People are, in whatever form, just trying to make sure you get to stay around long enough to get the rainbow flag of stars under your name
I'm surprised it's lasted this long...Mojo...you asleep at the helm again?

Yeah, this will get locked and put in the cellar. I had one going about doing some "spirited" driving with a Viper and it went away. Folks just couldn't refrain from using the "race" word over and over so I'm glad it went away.
