Default Just calculated my MPG

And with the new set up I am getting 16MPG!!! And you know what? Thats what I was getting before! I still have not fined tuned it yet. Carbs still runing a bit rich. Once I fix that I am sure I will get 17 or better. And this is with me driving and axcellerating harder than before!

What are your gears, and mods. You can do better than this for mileage. Most guy's on the board, are getting 26-30. There is a thread somewhere in the forum, that is quit lengthy, and everbody was posting there MPG's...

I have seen it but I think their est. are VERY High. No one ever specified if it was highway or city. Mine is 90% city. And most that I have seen were closer to mine. Plus I got a 383 stroked and hooker headers, 3" pipe all the way back. I am not too sure on the gears but basically I posted this cause everyone told me I would not get close to what I was getting before the swap as far as MPG. Just goes to show that half the people here dont know what they are talking about. I say that to say this, I dont know much about vettes and I dont post unless I have some idea or if I think I can help fix their problem.

I took for granted it was highway MPG. For the 383 that's pretty decent for mostly city. Would be interesting to see your highway. Bet its around 23...

I am hoping for at least that. I dont have any trips planned out yet but I might have to make an excuse just to find out. Before I was getting 25 on the highway. I would like to see if I can beat that if I can. I doubt it but you never know.

I have to see if there is a way I can hook my instant average back up on the HUD. We had to disconnect the stock pump and add a holley. I am pretty sure thats where the sensor is to calculate it.
