Default waterpump!
how can i tel if the water pump is doin its job or workin properly

Try this, turn on the heat and see if it gets hot. If it gets hot, its pumping water.

The only pump problems I know of is that they leak.

Very rare that they actually break.

If you see water leaking from the front area of your engine (waterpump area) your waterpump then is failing and will need replacing.

If the water pump is failing water will drip from the weep hole at the bottom of the pump.
