Hi, I've been reading this forum for about a week now and am very impressed with the amount of information available. I finally decided to register and see if I can get any of the million questions that come to mind answered. I bought my red 88 about a month ago. I've wanted a vette since about 6 years old. My family and I returned from living in Turkey for the last two years (I'm Air Force) and I decided for my 37th birthday I'd finally fulfill my dream. I wanted something I could drive every day because I wouldn't be able to stand just looking at it in the garage. So I got a C4 which agrees with my military paycheck! My wife says she is now a Corvette widow, but I'm sure that will pass once I get the fever under control. I want to keep my car as stock as possible so I've made a couple of changes. First, I put stock mufflers back on her because the others were so loud my brain rattled inside my head at 1400rpm. Then I replaced the outer window seals which started out being a bear until I pulled my head out and realized what I was doing wrong. After that things went smoothly. I have a habit of making the simple jobs as hard as possible. Hopefully with some of your wisdom I can break that habit.
Welcome Ron,
This foum has a lotta cool folk who will do their best to help you out. Often you will get conflicting answers, but everyone is well intentioned. Enjoy your new car, it only gets better from here.
Welcome aboard and if you ever find out how to get "the fever under control' please let us know. It's one of the million questions that has never been answered. :yesnod:
Welcome Ron,
This forum is the best place on the web to get information and such. As Jack, aka: cruise director etraordinar, said check the upcoming events forum out for some fun impromptu events.

Welcome to the center of the universe for Corvette owners and wanters. It's fun here and informative even. Had a Red 88, Z51, coupe as my first vette, drove it 125K miles, loved everyone of them.
Welcome new Guy,
It's a great place to learn about your car when you have a question and meet some great (sometimes crazy  ) folks. :yesnod: :yesnod:
I'm sure you'll find out anything you could possibly want to know. I've only been registered a couple of days and I have already gotten help from many people. Its a great community. :yesnod:
Welcome Ron, I'm new here also. I have been reading all the listings so if I do have a problem I have know what way to turn. Half the fun here is seeing people with a problem and how fast the friendly folks respond with ideas on how to solve the problem. If you have a question  ask it and watch how fast people slove it for you.
I do believe your stay here, will be a PLEASANT ONE! Be careful: it's VERY addictive! Look at the wacko's with 15000 posts in one year being a member They know who they are.
