How is this program? I would like to estimate the HP of my engine with each different mod. Are there any better programs? Where is the cheapest place? Thaks in advance.
I have used this program on a friends computer and I was impressed. We were working on several engine combo's for a bracket car he was building. The times were very close once the car was on the track. For about $40 it's a heck of a deal.
I have the software. It seems to be pretty accurate. I had my ZZ4 dynoed and then built up the same motor on the desktopdyno and it was within a few ponies.
Here is a tip: I read in GM High Tech mag. that you should use the cams advertised duration and set the lifter to plain hydraulic. They said the the roller lifters in the program are too optimistic and are more of a slid roller.
Otherwise I like the software. One, Those who have it, where does an LT1 fit into in the intake section?
Ok guys, curiosity has won out. I ordered it from Summit late last night :yesnod: I'll let you know how it turns out.

Well, how is it? :D :hat
Actually, it just came in last night!! Thanks for keeping me honest :D The program has shown me how little I know about motors :bb (See an example of my lack of knowledge here http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=151456 ) . There are a million and one parameters, and you really have to understand exactly what each of your mods are doing to your car. I do think that I will like it once I gain some additional insight as to how it should work. It looks as if it will be pretty accurate as well. I guess my answer is: I'll let you know once I figure it out!
