I'd say get rid of it, in my opinion, much more cleaner lines and less stress on the original body panels too

Hello,
For me without the body kit, wings dont look right. Too bad no one ever made a little duck tail or a rear bumper assembly incorperating a Mears-Shinoda type tail.

C4's just look better w/o any emblishment on the bodywork.

Ron: We met tonight at the car show - I was the punk that initially thought the window sticker was wrong. I'm glad to see another Cleveland'er on the forum.

I try to wash off any emblishment as soon as possible. I understand if left on too long it can damage the paint.

How about get rid of it and do the later style bumper swap if you want a change. You're painting it anyway right? That rear bumper you have now sure is happy, it's waving all over the place.

please, for the love of god, eliminate the kiddie mod. there is not one single wing or aftermarket body kit mod that belongs on a corvette. none. nada. kits are for kids (and so are single wings).

with a new rear bumper and paint job, you'll feel alot better about your car.

lose it.

early C4 's have a sharp line on the rear that looks better without a wing, late C4's with round rears look ok.

wings were ok till they became rice staple feed, now thry're passe'...i have one on my buick roaddie in parody.

just my .01..... it'll still be a vette no matter.

If you like it keep it! If you don't have the wing removed and sell it. I would also inquire how much the removal and fill job will add to the overall cost. That may help in your decision making process.[IMG] [/IMG]

I say keep it. There are so few C4's with it that it stands out. It also helps attract the younger generation to Vettes as they think those things are cool. With so many older people driving Vettes we have to recruit the C7 generation now!!

Here we go again with the ground effects packages and/or the wings questions for the C4. Half here will say lose it, the other half says keep it. Bottom line.....
Do you like the looks of it or not... you drive the car. I say to each there own. Its yours , so do what you want, not what we want you to do..
For me this is what I always wanted on a vette so thats what I had put on. And regardless if some of us don't like the wings or ground effects I will say I have gotten a lot of compliments on mine and has been a head turner ever since it was done. (And I'm sure that as some of the heads have turned, they say to themselves, "what the hell is that"..) But, I'm happy and thats all that matters!
