Bra Comes Off!!!!
Well i finally decided to have the front end repaintedon my 84.
Went to the local body shop for a quote, while talking
to the owner I also asked him how much he would charge
to paint a spot below the fuel door from a spill, and a set
of Altec mud guards the same color, and also a complete buffing!
he said he would give me a good deal if I would wait untill
he wasn't too busy with other cars I said sure. he finally
called last Tuesday after a Month and said he would charge me $500.00 for everything!!! I took her in the same day.
well got her back on Friday and was a little worried that they
would have trouble matching the color since it's black with
rainbow metal flakes, well I worried for nothing!! I think they
did a real good job for what they charged me.
What do you Guy's think?????

It looks like they matched the paint pretty good.
I have a 86 that had some scratches on the front, so I put a bra on it also. The bra did more damage than what was originally there, so I leave it on when I need to go places that I want to show my car, and make it look good.
Its also black, and that is one of the things that I need to get done to it later. Paint the front bumper like you did.

Getting ready to do the same thing, plus the rear bumper cover and a wet sanding of the clear-coat overall. $600. Looks great, and sounds like you got a fair price.
