there are only a couple of national CF events a year... The Cruise-in at the NCM being the biggie.

I would recommend if you want to meet other CFers, check the regional events section for Texas. Also, if you are traveling, post in your destination section that you will be in town!

Over the years, I have met a ton of Forum folks... I used to live in DE, so I know many from DE, PA, NJ and MD - Mojo, j3studio (met him in DE, and met with him and his lovely wife last year when they came out here!), Scorp508, MikeG, Chris, Redger, Rex Ruby, Hot Rod 90 and C5GalaxyEng and a ton of folks from NJ.

Thanks to Stars & Stripes (an event 4 years ago), I met members from just about every state in the nation!

When on vacation in Hawaii last year, we got to meet Hawaiian Punch and Steves40th! Great guys, both!

Thanks to members traveling, we have met Sleezy Rider and The Dingo (All the way from Australia!!).

I have met quite a number of the FL guys, thanks to visits to Sebring. Also, 93Polo from GA!

At Sebring, I got to meet LittleRedCorvette (April, she was a big poster in OT) and No Ordinary 91 (Isaac... he passed a couple years ago in a tragic car accident. A real special guy. )

When traveling to NorCal a few years back, we met Gozar and Noggles!

When the Mrs and I went cross country a couple years ago, we had lunch with PigFace1. He is a funny guy and a real class act. I sure hope he gets out this way... or we make it back of Ok City!

We have hung with Nox and Air1070 a few times, too.

Gee... What about cuisinartvette and CentralCoaster!

Can't forget Alcee1, Ivory90 and bwmgsa. Just a ton of folks!

To be honest, I am sure I have missed a few... and this doesn't count the folks who I have emailed and telephoned!

See? A little planning and you never know who will be around!

The good news is that the picnic is at your house this year! The bad news is that you are going to have to find a place for us to park. Don't forget to rent about 20 portajons also.

If you are talking about the DFW picnic, there's a thread in SW
