Has anybody bought these from the corvette museum?
If so are they any good?
Are they the same broshures for the 84?
Comments and opinions welcome..... :seeya
I just got off the phone with the museum. I ordered both broshures I am now waitng there arrival and will give them a look. My other question is is this broshure the same as the broshure in MAD,Ecklers of the 84 vette?
If it is I won't have to purchase that one too.

Re: 83 brochures (84willnotfire)
These brochures are for real....If you take a look at some of the pictures, you will see some wheels that were not offered, we have these wheels on display at the NCM on our 83.....
Yep, the brochures are for real. Brand new, not reproductions. GM recently donated truck loads of dealer brochures to the National Corvette Museum.
We (the C5 Fighter Squadron) were selling them for the museum at our table in the NCM during the Labor Day Celebration. There is a 1st Edition and a 2nd Edition printing. The only difference is that on page 51 (I believe) the 1st Edition shows a car with special wheels that never made it into production. You can see those same wheels on the 1983 Corvette in the NCM. The 2nd Edition shows the production turbine wheels.
You can order them directly from the NCM by calling 800-53-VETTE or by visiting their web site at http://www.corvettemuseum.com
Ahem... why don't you send the NCM a few bucks for one and find out... it's for a good cause... :yesnod: I am... along with enough for a new build sheet and maybe even a new window sticker.
If we don't support the NCM now, there may not be a NCM for our kids to visit... :seeya
Thanks to the folks of the C5 Fighter Sq., I bought both the 1st and 2nd printing...some very neat fold outs...plus the extra poster of the 'Anatomy of the New Corvette'...glad they 'talked' me into getting one of each!

I bought a whole CASE of brand new, unopened '96 brochures. Go figger, eh?
