Default New guy from the ford camp

Just wanted to introduce my self. Recently bought my first corvette a 94 6 speed. Really this my first chevy I have ever owned. I have been on the 5.0 mustang kick from the late 80's. Mustangs are all I have ever owed, there great there fast, but still lots of weak points. What logic pushed to buy the vette. I can sell my mustang convert, my mustang drag car, and the one that does everything my Lightning pickup. I am all soon to be all out of fords soon.

Anyway I am a gearhead set on going fast the car is a 94 with lt4 heads, intake, hotcam, 4.10 gladiator rear, headers with 3" grandsport wheels and 8 point roll bar.I have ran best 1/4 in street trim of 12.68 at 110 hope to best that tonight.

Thanks to the board it has already helped me fix my tach.

Hola! I owned two 5.0 GTs, a 1989 and a 1990. Both were fun and quick cars! Enjoy the site!

Welcome to the Wonderful World of Corvette's!!

I am a Chev guy at heart, always have been, but my rod before the Vette was a slightly warmed over Cobra GT. Night and day, all around, my friend.

The one thing that both my wife and I love about the Vette is the flexibility of the car... it's a beast carving up the back roads, yet you can also put on a nice suit and a tie and roll up to an expensive restaurant or hotel and feel like you're someone.

Also, prepare to be stared at wherever you go! Have any pictures of your new ride you could post?

My 86 was my favorite out of all of them....Whit/grey, great car--Never broke but went through brakes every 7k miles.

The 84 was pretty fun....460C6/4.10 on squeeze. Death trap

Holy cow, no wonder you went so fast at the drags with your 130K mile car the first week. You be a serious racer-man.

And welcome to you, RRRR. 12.68 is nothing to sneeze at. It can get faster tho......... Enjoy the drive!!!
