Default LT1 Problems

My whole family is gearing up for funfest. All are vettes are ready to go except my Dad's. Both of his C4s are acting up. 93 Vert and 95 Coupe. Hopefully someone can offer some assistance. The 95 will run fine for a while, sometimes an hour to just 10 minutes. After that it sputters and dies. He can wait for a while and sometimes it starts and sometimes it won't. The 93 sounds like it is missing and is lacking power. I know nothing about LT1s. I have an L98. Pleases help.

The 93 did. He changed the module on it and the light went out. It still idles and runs like crap.

Ignition module?
If so, check the plugs, they're probably fouled up after running with a bad module. You probably need to reset the idle speed motor as well.

You need to check for engine codes. Use your search to find out how to use a paper clip. If you have a code, get back to us and that will be a place to start trouble shooting.
