Default Door Lights

do your door lights stay on just a wee little bit when you're driving around in the daytime???...a friend riding co-pilot pointed this out to me...you don't notice it unless you put your finger right under the light cover....

Mine stayed on due to a faulty door switch
The switch on the door that turns off the lights

The interior door lights are on a timer, they should not stay on all the time. As stated above, the door adjar switches go bad and let the lights stay on or just come on when the chassis flexes enough.

The timer only applies when the car is off
They should go off when you drive
Im still gonna go with the switch

If you pull the door towards you as you drive and it goes off Thats it
Also I started mine and with the door open pushed the switch down
In the later years they were self adjusting The center part came out further
If it is sitting flush Its bad
Replacing can be a PITA cause the part the screws go into is not attached and can fall into the door if it comes offf the pigtail
The FSM says to get a long screw to hold it down
Take one out and get about 1.5 in long to hold it while you take the other one out Just dont shut the door
Home depot is your friend
Other than that not a difficult install
