I couldn't take it any longer. I just have to know. There was no RPO code list under the console lid or under the rear deck lid and I rarely have an opportunity to reach up on top of the gas tank or search openings in the frame. So, I finally broke down and purchased the build sheet, window sticker, dealer brochure and black book (code book) from the National Corvette Museum. I really want to know my Corvettes' pedigree. Have any of you done this? Were you happy with the results? I'll give you my feedback on these items when I get them in about a month. My curiosity once again got the best of me. By the way, Thanks guys for your extensive RPO codes lists in the other threads. Soon I'll be able to put it all to good use.
Yup! I got em. I have them framed on my Corvette wall along with pics of my car that I can look at during the winter months when she is in hibernation.
Total package was $105.00 But the individual breakdown was $45.build sheet, $40 window sticker, $5.00 dealer brochure, $15. black book. Save shipping charges of $5 if you order the all four. The museum has it posted at its website.

Well, since you ask....
Got the sticker, build sheet, 2002 Black Book (bought it then), all the dealer brochures from 1984-2002 (purchased as a pkg from the Museum), All Corvettes Are Read, Corvette From The Inside, Zora, Corvette Milestones, Corvette Buyers Guide, 101 Projects, VETTEspecs, Corvette Seat Belts, and probably 20 or so others that I can't recall. Love all of it. Would do it again. This ain't just another car with me.

I keep meaning to do this.....you may be my inspiration. Tell me how it all looks when you get it, plz. Thanks! Good idea, I think.
OMG they are gems! Join NCM and it is a little cheaper, and the membership is tax deductable.
I bought two brochures, one to let people look at the other is still in it's original folder.
The only thing I wished NCM would package and sell are the original leather cases for the manuals and such. When I bought my '93 it had no manuals, so the first thing I bought was the owner's manual, darn thing was a reprint (copy), so I went on a quest and found the original color manual still sealed. I keep the copy in the vehicle and the color one with the brochure on a book shelf with the framed window sticker and build sheet above on the wall. Now all I'm waiting for is a few more months 'til I have the title, which I think I'm going to frame and put above the window sticker.
See my "low VIN thread". I ordered my Build Sheet and Window Sticker today for 96 CE LT4 #3. Can't wait to get it. Of course, I didn't know they also sold original brochures for a mere $5. I bought one on eBay for $14!!!!

I got the Build Sheet a few months ago with the plastic lamination. I already had the original sticker from the previous owner and I have a copy of the full color dealer brouchure with all the goodies. The Build Sheet is OK for the 50 bucks but for me nothing to write home about. Could I have done something better with the 50 bucks? Sure, but it's only 50 bucks so what the hell.
