I just did the conversion to C5 brakes last weekend. I used a MightyVac vacuum bleeder (the metal unit). Worked very well. Makes it a one man job. There are plenty of adators to allow it to work on any vehicle. Don't forget the prime pipe bleeder on the ABS unit!
Who makes a good Brake Bleeding Kit for the c4, that can also be used on a c2 as well.
Thank-you.
My buddy and I purchased a unit to use on our C-5's and it fits the C-4 as well. It is a pressure unit that works similar to the dealers unit and it only cost about $60 with the shipping. If your interested I can get the name and you can get it on-line, like we did.
Several years ago i purchased a set (4) speed bleeders. Your going to be doing this (bleeding) at least once a year, do yourself a favor and buy a set of speed bleeders.

I bought the Mighty Vac with all the different adapters, & tried to bleed the brakes on my `94 Dakota 4x4--- --- finaly had the wife pump the brakes, while I bled them. That Mighty Crap went in the trash. Glad I diden`t try to bleed the Vette`s brakes with that thing.

I've tried vacuum bleeding brakes on several cars...but with little success. I've used the Mity-Vac and an electric vacuum pump, neither worked well. I've since gotten a pressure system that should do the job.
