87 Wheels

I purchased my car many years ago used and it's my first and only vette.

The wheels are not the proper wheels for this car. The door tag shows a 255/xxx/16 and these are 275/xxx/17. What year did they come from and what tire pressure should they be run?

Looks like '88 wheels. 30-35psi is what I use on the street. Does it have spacers on it?

They look to me like 88's or newer. And they would have to be run with wheel spacers. An 84-87 has a different suspension under it than the 88's and newer C-4. Pressures should be about the same. If in doubt I'd check the tires for suggested tire pressure. As my name says I have an 87. Nice looking car!

Yes they have spacers. I rotated them today and finally figured I'd ask the question.

1988 was the 1st year for 17" wheels Those wheels are factory style '88s.
Looks like they are chromed like mine.
I put about 32-35 lbs. cold
